Kalei Coffee Co.’s flagship in Beirut’s Mar Mikhael/Rmeil district was once the Coconi House, abandoned in 1984 during the Lebanese civil war. When we entered the garden, we felt at home, offering a quiet escape from the nearby hustle. We preserved the old structure, allowing the space to guide our operations. In September 2016, Kalei’s first coffee house and roastery opened, honoring the past. (Note: Parking available for residents only.)

in the last weekVery nice place in the area, it keeps the authentic and historical aspect of the house it is in but with a moder twist. I love the color combination the green in very soothing the sitting area very well thought of and nicely places for either calm and focus, chilling or even community and chitchatting. I went there for a coffee and got a spanish latte (The attached pictures are #1 the view from the inside out, #2 their tote bags, idk why i didn't takw a picture of more but I'll probably be back and post more)
