a week agoOne of the best Lebanese restaurants in Beirut. We went for iftar, and since we were only two people, we couldn’t order the set menu and had to choose à la carte from its items instead. The food was outstanding. We absolutely loved the kibbeh, frakeh jnoubieh, fattet batenjen, and selek. We also really enjoyed the soft serve ice cream at the end of the meal. What really stands out about Em Sherif restaurants is the elevated experience, high quality of ingredients, and the innovative twist on traditional Lebanese dishes. That said, the pricing setup was a bit disappointing. Even after skipping several items, our total bill ended up being more expensive than the set menu price per person. We would have preferred the option to share a set menu portion for two at the same price. Overall, the food quality is exceptional and lives up to the reputation; however, somehow overpriced.
