3 months agoBeirut's Al Raouche Rocks – also known as Pigeon Rocks – are Lebanon's most famous natural landmark and a true symbol of the city's coastal beauty! No trip to the country's capital city will be complete without catching a glimpse of these solid formations. 🪨 🇱🇧 If you're up for an adventure, walk off the beaten path to the boats and take a water ride around the Rocks (be prepared to negotiate your price with the people lingering around). 🚤 PS: For the adrenaline junkies among you: It's also possible to climb the rocks. And for those who dare to push limits: In 2019, international athletes even jumped off the rocks as part of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series! 🧗♂️ 🌊 🏊♂️ PS II: Once your adventure draws to a close, reward yourself with a refreshing Minted Lemonade and a selection of Lebanese Mezze at the Bay Rock Cafe, conveniently perched just above the Rocks! 🍹🥙

a month agoRaouche rock is probably the most famous rock in Lebanon and in the world. It is a great place to visit but I think it needs more care and service as the bushes in front of it are wild and not a great scene to be shown in people photos, it shows the government’s lack of appreciation and service/ care for the place.

a year agoIt is the main landmark in Beirut. We really enjoyed the weather there and the kids were playing around. It is a perfect place for taking photos. It is a central location for restaurants cafes and fast food shops. I would absolutely recommended to my friends and relatives. It is just spectacular.
