I don’t just give 5 stars easily but some teams do deserve a 5 for how sharp, friendly, attentive, and hospitable they are. Every time i book this place the staff makes sure everything is well taken care off before-during-& after my visit. They do it with a smile and they go away beyond themselves and beyond policies to make things happen. Love the hotel, it is by itself a great one, but i come also for the team. Hi Sabine and Mohammad and rest of team :)

The atmosphere is superb, where the old traditional arc of the building and lush greenery create a beautiful setting place in Beirut. The food is so delicious. Highly recommend.

    - Beautifully renovated historical building with art at its core. - Nice rooms and good housekeeping Few points that bring the experience down: - No proper management and service organisation - Absence of reception/ welcome desk, guest services - Team rarely available and mostly hanging outside of the property. Clear lack of experience with no proper corporate attire. - No menus ever been presented when ordering F&B at the restaurant terrace or for breakfast, staff not well knowledgeable of the available menu offering it feels more of a guessing game - Hospitality concept identity lost and service quite weak

Nicely refurbished old lebanese house. Rooms were not exactly comfortable, no TV and barely any space to fit the suitcases. The shower door was leaking and water pressure in the rainshower was low. Also the rainshower needed cleaning cause it was raining sideways bcse the holes were clogged. Could hear everyone passing by my room and doen the stairs; very poor sound proofing. Towels were old and greyish white with torn edges. Ended up drying myself with toilet paper. Staff is nice but not always available at the reception. Food is ok.

Beautiful and stylish rebuild of a 130 year old building. The rooms are named after family members. The neighborhood feels like some hip back alley in Paris. We stayed in a loft -- it was super chic except navigating the wooden staircase. Breakfast was great and bountiful. Would definitely stay again. One of the best boutique hotels in Beirut.
