a week agoThank you Mr. Jean-Claude and Carl for our amazing stay and wedding dinner. All our guests from different countries agree that Arthaus is amazing! What makes Arthaus what it is is the service and hospitality of the team. First, the manager Jean Claude was very accommodating to me as a stressed bride, providing solutions to everything, not obstacles. Carl was patient with our requests and answered all our questions with warmth and hospitality. After trying several hotels in Lebanon, this is the best. Worth the price. It’s an art piece filled with history and art. Wedding dinner menu was very high quality from the starters to main dishes to the desert. Rooms are spacious and the utilities are of good quality. Overall, a great stay that will fill you with positive energy. Would definitely come back again.

2 months agoI visited Arthaus recently and while I have to say the view and the ambiance are truly beautiful, the food portions were a big disappointment. I ordered the Lebanese breakfast for $22 and was shocked at how little was served — it wasn’t even enough for one person. For my two kids (11 and 13 years old), I ordered the croissant basket for $13, which came with only 3 very tiny croissants. Definitely not worth the price. Such a lovely place deserves better portion sizes to match the quality of the setting.

4 months agoThis beautifully restored old home turned boutique hotel was the perfect balance between classic charm and modern comfort. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, the food and drinks were excellent, and the outdoor courtyard is a dream. The owner’s impressive art collection is displayed throughout the hotel, adding a unique and personal touch to every corner. Most of all, the staff made our stay truly special—warm, attentive, and welcoming. Special shoutout to Carl for going above and beyond. We felt right at home and can’t wait to return!

4 months agoI rarely put a review on google, but this place worth 100 star not only 5 ! The way how this place was transformed from a house to a hotel and a restaurant is something different ! Also, the food was way more than excellent. The Kale salad and Risotto mushroom were exceptional. To the owner of this place, I wish you best of luck !

4 months agoTucked behind the old walls of Gemmayze lies a hidden pulse; equal parts gallery, garden, and gathering place. Arthaus doesnt just host events; it curates moments that feel like film stills. Every corner tells a story, but it’s the unspoken details, the lighting, the layout, the way the air shifts when music begins, that suggest someone with a sharp eye is quietly orchestrating the atmosphere. You wont always see the name behind the magic, but you'll feel the signature! Let’s just say, if you know, you know. And if you don’t… you will.
