Kalei Coffee Co.’s flagship in Beirut’s Mar Mikhael/Rmeil district was once the Coconi House, abandoned in 1984 during the Lebanese civil war. When we entered the garden, we felt at home, offering a quiet escape from the nearby hustle. We preserved the old structure, allowing the space to guide our operations. In September 2016, Kalei’s first coffee house and roastery opened, honoring the past. (Note: Parking available for residents only.)

2 months agoIf you visit one coffee shop in Beirut it should be Kalei. The setting is beautiful and tranquil. The outdoor verdant garden has abundant seating and is relaxing and peaceful to spend time in. The coffee is delicious and the food menu is substantial. Wonderful place to come and spend time.
