Paid 30$ at the entrance thinking we would at least for our peace of mind; but they seem to care more about their money than the clients experience. They asked for 2 dollars for towels and we said we had ours and they said the only towels we can use are theirs. Otherwise we have to go sit at the beach or on the grass. Then we ordered a bottle of water and they were so worried and told us each time we will order something we will have to pay on the spot. Enjoy !

The location is beautiful. Plenty of sand beaches, warm water , no pebbles. The sand is clean despite the width of the beach . The resort public amenities are old and sometimes dirty mainly the bathroom and changing area. The staff that is serving the beach area ( drinks...) is too slow, overwhelmed and unprofessional. The pool is clean and has great surroundings. The main restaurant ( fish ) was closed so we had to have lunch in the other restaurant. Food is not at all what is expected from this type of resort. Bad taste and I felt that food security was at the limit. Summary : great beach, medium resort

I recently planned my proposal at Laguava Resort, and it was absolutely perfect! The setup by the sea was stunning, the atmosphere magical, and the team was incredibly helpful and professional. Everything went smoothly and exceeded our expectations. A beautiful place for unforgettable memories — highly recommended for special occasions!

unfortunately, my experience at Laguava didn’t live up to expectations, especially when comparing the price to the service offered. You pay $30 for entrance, but that doesn’t include basic amenities — you’re charged extra for towels by the pool, which is disappointing for a beach resort at this price point. Cocktails are priced at $18, and surprisingly, they are served in plastic cups, which really detracts from the experience. Toilets were not clean, which is unacceptable in such a setting. As for the restaurant, the menu is limited, and to make matters worse, we found hair in our fattoush, which was quite off-putting. On a positive note, the pool is nice, and the beach is clean and beautiful — definitely the highlights of the place. Overall, for the amount of money spent, the service should be significantly better. Laguava has potential, but right now, the value just isn’t there.

We booked a Sea View Bungalow at La Guava Resort for two nights. The location is excellent, directly on the sea with 24/7 security. The pool is large and enjoyable, the jacuzzi is nice but old, and the whole place has a charming boho-style decoration with palm trees. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. Rooms & Facilities • The bungalows are cozy, but the bathrooms are in urgent need of renovation. • The beach had a lot of seaweed, which we understand is seasonal, but with basic maintenance it could have been cleaned up to improve the experience. • Two small stands for ice cream and matcha/frozen tea are available, but surprisingly the restaurant menu doesn’t include any desserts. Service & Management This was by far the weakest point of our stay: • Breakfast (Day 1): Took 45 minutes to arrive, though it was just labneh, cheese, omelette, and vegetables. • Lunch: Arrived after an hour, with cold pizza, cold fries, and stale carrots served with the beer. No plates provided with the order. • Dinner at the restaurant: Same issue. A simple appetizer (avocado dip) took 35 minutes, and the truffle burger was disappointing in both taste and quality. • Sunday breakfast (Day 2): Ordered at 9:30 a.m., received only at 11:30 a.m. after repeated calls. At that point we canceled our plan to stay longer and checked out. When I told the reservation person not to bring the food anymore and that we would not extend our stay, they simply ignored us. The receptionist also asked how the breakfast was; when I explained that it came after two hours, she stayed silent. It gave us the impression that these issues happen often and the team either can’t or won’t improve. Overall For a resort that charges $350 per night, the service should be top-class. Unfortunately, management seems to lack the most basic hospitality training. My recommendation to the owners: invest in serious hotel and restaurant management courses for your staff and managers. Unless things change, I would say: 👉 If you plan to visit, bring your own food. The location is beautiful, but the service ruins the experience.
