a week agoAs someone who’s visited the resort REGULARLY for the past 5 years and have personally seen hundreds of employees and personally talked with Mr Assad Mattar i have to say that i’m very disappointed in the current staff. I got greeted with the receptionist and the placement workers who were always very kind and still are, but after that among sitting and ordering a vodka sack with some carrots and a bucket of ice, i overheard one of the workers say (نيّملو هيدا ما بيترك) which translates to him telling his friend to delay my order because I don’t leave enough tips. I tried to ask for the manager or the supervisor but to my surprise no one ended up coming and i left an hour after i had initially arrived, this is not a way you serve people who paid good $ to enter and are willing to pay more for good service, يا عيب الشوم, giving me an excuse to Never come back here.

2 weeks agounfortunately, my experience at Laguava didn’t live up to expectations, especially when comparing the price to the service offered. You pay $30 for entrance, but that doesn’t include basic amenities — you’re charged extra for towels by the pool, which is disappointing for a beach resort at this price point. Cocktails are priced at $18, and surprisingly, they are served in plastic cups, which really detracts from the experience. Toilets were not clean, which is unacceptable in such a setting. As for the restaurant, the menu is limited, and to make matters worse, we found hair in our fattoush, which was quite off-putting. On a positive note, the pool is nice, and the beach is clean and beautiful — definitely the highlights of the place. Overall, for the amount of money spent, the service should be significantly better. Laguava has potential, but right now, the value just isn’t there.

2 months agoNice and clean place. Staff behaved very polite and showed respectful and good attitude. Just wish that this place was open for a bit longer, but it seems to be a common thing in Lebanon for resorts to close at 6-7 pm. In general the vibe is good.

a month agoIt's very bad place, very bad policy and service. They don't allow the man to site at the pool bar with female. It's extremely very bad policy. They do need a lot to learn for other countries.
