a month agoI recently planned my proposal at Laguava Resort, and it was absolutely perfect! The setup by the sea was stunning, the atmosphere magical, and the team was incredibly helpful and professional. Everything went smoothly and exceeded our expectations. A beautiful place for unforgettable memories — highly recommended for special occasions!

2 months agounfortunately, my experience at Laguava didn’t live up to expectations, especially when comparing the price to the service offered. You pay $30 for entrance, but that doesn’t include basic amenities — you’re charged extra for towels by the pool, which is disappointing for a beach resort at this price point. Cocktails are priced at $18, and surprisingly, they are served in plastic cups, which really detracts from the experience. Toilets were not clean, which is unacceptable in such a setting. As for the restaurant, the menu is limited, and to make matters worse, we found hair in our fattoush, which was quite off-putting. On a positive note, the pool is nice, and the beach is clean and beautiful — definitely the highlights of the place. Overall, for the amount of money spent, the service should be significantly better. Laguava has potential, but right now, the value just isn’t there.

3 weeks agoLAGUAVA RESORT: A very nice beach resort, clean, hygienic, and well-maintained. The staff are friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Prices are affordable compared to similar places, offering great value for money. Definitely a must-visit if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway by the sea. ZOYA RESTAURANT: I give this restaurant 3/10 : 1 point for the food, 1 point for the beauty of the setting , and 1 point for the weather and fans. Everything else was disappointing. The waiters are disorganized, undisciplined, and there was no manager present in the restaurant. Our order was taken separately, and the food didn’t arrive together. Despite calling in the morning to book a table for ten, the table wasn’t ready when we arrived. In fact, some other guests had to give us their table out of kindness and respect because we had nowhere to sit. On top of that, the restaurant doesn’t even have proper Prosecco glasses, yet a glass of Prosecco is priced at $18. For comparison, in Portofino the most elegant glass of Prosecco is around 10 euros. The pricing feels illogical and not well thought out — and to make matters worse, the staff didn’t even know the name of the bottle being served. The music was another letdown: extremely loud, with “boom boom” beats that didn’t match the scenic and peaceful atmosphere of the location. In such a beautiful setting, you’d expect tasteful, relaxing music that complements the environment. Finally, when we asked the waiters who the manager was, they couldn’t answer. A restaurant in such a beautiful location should be managed far more professionally. The setting is truly lovely, but the operations and logistics are very poorly handled.

2 weeks agoOne of the best beach resorts I visited this summer. Very classy, clean and staff were really well monitored. I went 4 times this summer and I will always do when I am in Lebanon.

3 months agoNice and clean place. Staff behaved very polite and showed respectful and good attitude. Just wish that this place was open for a bit longer, but it seems to be a common thing in Lebanon for resorts to close at 6-7 pm. In general the vibe is good.
