Cayu is truly a hidden gem right on the sea the location is simply breathtaking. With direct access to some of the cleanest waters in Lebanon, it offers an unmatched setting for a perfect beach day. The sunset views were absolutely stunning, making the whole experience even more magical. Despite visiting on a busy day, the service was exceptional. The staff were attentive, detail-oriented, and always present, ensuring we had everything we needed. It’s rare to find such great service under pressure, but Cayu delivered seamlessly. The food was another highlight; incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Beirut. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I had high expectations for Cayu, but the food really let me down. We arrived about 10 minutes before sunset, with only two other tables occupied, and the vibe was calm. The location is truly amazing — beachside, sunset views, and the sound of the waves. It’s perfect for relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. As for the food, I discovered it wasn’t great overall. The bizri was good, but honestly it’s hard to mess it up. The mini burgers were below average, especially for $20. The crab tacos and fries were okay, but the tacos could have been better seasoned and more flavorful. The guacamole with chips needed more salt. Drinks were fine but overpriced at around $15 each. Service was decent. One thing to note: it can get very humid and windy near the beach. I personally liked it, but it might bother some. The bill came to $90 — pretty expensive for what we got. Overall, great location and vibes, but average food and pricey drinks.

Had lunch today, service and food were excellent, but we struggled to find a table to fit our party of 6. To be fair we should have called and reserved. Loved the bar, decor, music and the food. The water is clear and clean, I even saw a sea turtle. Overall, an amazing and unforgettable day !

Amazing food quality. Great ambiance and private access to the clearest sea side. Drinks are to die for. Staff are very friendly. I highly recommend the Bezre platter and fish burger !

Cayu has a very nice vibe and the place is clean and soul soothing. HOWEVER, the food was poisoning . A bitter sweet feeling fills you up when you see the beauty of the place and then look at the plate of fried fish full of oil, cold fries, tartare sauce squeezed from the bottle and not fresh at all , and a very weirdly seasonsed salmon . We also had the crab ceviche , no flavour until you squeeze half a lemon on top , same goes for the avocado, not even a pinch of salt or pepper which made it dull and lacking so many spices . Watch out when you go to sea to the lemons thrown right behind the bar directly into the water and the plastic gloves floating . Also, the basic charge is 40$ which they don't annouce on the phone or upon reservation. I would love to hear how they justify this price when you can swim for free right next to them and bring a picnic that will not poison you . Parking is 500 000 L.L, on a dusty sandy parking lot with no shade at all . Service was good .
