MIST Hotel & Spa Ehden

Very disappointed. Used to come every year in winter. Where to start? Mist Hotel and spa is no longer the hotel and resort we all know. Our last visit was a disaster. -No longer Valet Parking as well as a Bell Boy (Surprising for a 5 star hotel) -The spa is way below average. We booked a room for the weekend. Pool was freezing cold on Saturday as well as the Jacuzzi. We asked for a temperature check up. Effectively, the temperature is below the average mentioned by the Hotel’s policies. The Sauna wasn’t working as well. -When we asked for an explanation. The only “Staff member” available on duty (On a Saturday afternoon) was the receptionist lady who is rude by the way, told us that the pool is at a good temperature and didn’t acknowledge their own maintenance guy who took temperature (Stating that he doesn’t know how to measure temperature). - On Sunday, The breakfast buffet advertised on their website is far from reality. No more croissants, pastries, hot dishes, fruits, sahlab etc. Why advertise falsely? Anyway. I understand some faults. But some faults are impardonnable. The Jaccuzzi was at a correct temperature on Sunday morning. When we asked to talk with a manager. The answer was there is no manager on duty on Saturday. (a luxury 5 stars hotel running with just 1 receptionist and no manager on duty). To our greatest or I might say saddest surprise, the manager came on Sunday and the only explanation he gave us is that the Jacuzzi and spa is at the same temperature as Saturday. Clearly, bashing any scientific fact that it was not the case and offering no solution. It is sad that the hotel is no longer a 5 stars hotel (based on the amenities and services). Perhaps a 3 star hotel. Proper management should be urgently required asap. The hotel is no longer part of the Warwick hotels hospitality group (perhaps this explains everything). I hope my comment and frustration can be taken into consideration to raise back the bar. It is unacceptable to have this service. The only decent matter is the rooms. The rooms are still clean, effective and well maintained. Thank you.

Asked for a room for a couple with a kid. They forced us to take 2 rooms. How can a 6 yr old girl sleep in one room alone. We suggested an extra bed but the management is very strict and didn't accept.
