a month agoDisappointed with the service on my visit. The cashier was rude and unwelcoming—very unlike the warm Lebanese hospitality one usually expects. I ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich. While the portion of chicken was generous, the sandwich overall didn’t meet expectations. The chicken was juicy and flavorful but was a tad cold. the sandwich wasn't toasted enough which took away from the flavor and experience.

a month agoStopped by Joseph in Sin El Fil for lunch and it was a great idea! I tried both the chicken shawarma and the beef shawarma — absolutely delicious, packed with flavor, and perfectly balanced. It’s a quick and casual spot, but the food is on another level. Definitely worth the visit if you’re craving authentic, mouthwatering sandwiches!

3 months agoI honestly don’t get where all the fuss is coming from. Joseph’s Shawarma is definitely one of the better ones I’ve had 🍗 The quality of the chicken is excellent, flavorful, and clearly fresh. But when you factor in the long wait times ⏳ and the price 💸 it really starts to lose its charm. The portion size is quite underwhelming for what you pay and how long you wait. It’s good, yes — but not that good. Worth a try if you’re curious, but don’t expect a life-changing sandwich 🥙

2 weeks agoVisited December 2017 – In Sin el-Fil, Joseph’s is a Beirut landmark, famed for shawarma that once won FoodieHub’s “Tastiest Sandwich in the World” award. I was sceptical of the accolade, but one bite dispelled my doubts. The lamb shawarma was superb – marinated with warm spices, perhaps cumin and a hint of cinnamon, layered on the spit with sheep’s tail fat to keep it moist. Sliced thin, wrapped in soft bread with sharp cucumber pickle and nutty tahini, it was balanced, juicy, and deeply satisfying. Street food at its absolute peak – proof of why Beirut ranks among the world’s capitals of flavour. 10 out of 10.

6 months agoHis shawarma before was better . Last i tried him 6 months ago, the shawarma was brilliant. This time, it was so normal that even the bread wasn't as fresh as usual. This place was number one in shawarma in lebanon, but unfortunately, he needs to have consistency in his quality. But eventhough i put 4 stars
