months agoVery interesting Lebanese sandwich/quick bite shop. I highly appreciate the quality and effort put into making and delivering the food. It's always busy there (explaining my 3 stars for the atmosphere). But for the rest (food and service), it's difficult to top such a fine Lebanese 'quick bite' shop.

months agoEm Sherif Deli impressed with its flavor! The sheesh taouk and potato sandwiches I devoured were bursting with fresh, clean ingredients and absolutely delicious. It was a highlight to see Em Sherif working alongside the team, ensuring everything ran smoothly and delivered that signature Em Sherif excellence. However, when it comes to portion size, these are miniature masterpieces. Even a child might need more than one to feel satisfied. For adults, tackling hunger pangs requires at least two, maybe even three, sandwiches. The real gut punch comes with the price tag. Ten dollars for a small taouk sandwich feels a bit steep. If the portions were more substantial, or at least average, the price for such a tasty treat might be easier to digest. If you're looking for a quick, high-quality bite and don't mind the cost, this spot might be for you. However, if you're seeking a more filling and budget-friendly option, you might want to explore elsewhere.

months agoLebanon’s unmatched food on the go concept. Deli stands for delicious and delicate in my opinion. The pairing of the ingredients, the way the sandwiches are rolled, presented, bowls are prepared, ice creams are served are a game changer for your experience. Must try items are: Hindbeh sourdough, Cauliflower sandwich, Bottarga Sandwich. If you’re a meats lover, chicken and beef shawrma are your go-tos.

months agoEm Sherif Deli lives up to the expectation. It may have been the best chicken shawarma that I’ve ever had. The sandwiches/wraps themselves are quite small, you get one rather thin wrap cut in half. Nevertheless, they are exceptionally delicious. An opportunity to try a few different fillings. Chicken shawarma and Cauliflower wraps were my favourite, absolutely packed with flavour. Tawouk and beef were also great to be fair. The honey dessert or pudding or whatever it was was to die for, I would return for that alone. It is overall a bit pricey with around $10 for a sandwich, but you can see the hype is worth the flavour. It was very busy during the afternoon with endless people coming in, but they turn around quite quickly and it’s not too difficult to find a spot to sit down. There are no prices listed, so a bit of a guessing game. Our friend was told one price but was charged higher on the card, so watch out before you pay. 10/10 highly recommend overall.

months agoEm Sherif Cafe has become famous worldwide, and now they've opened a deli! I had the honor of being invited by one of the owners, and I was all set to find something to criticize. My friend decided to go all out and ordered pretty much everything on the menu so I could try it all. And let me tell you, I didn't hold back—I ate from everything! Here's what we had: Shawarma Lahme & Shawarma Djeij in markouk bread Taouk in lettuce wrap Asbit Djeij in markouk Soujouk in milk bread Labneh Makdous in sourdough Arnabeet in markouk Hindbeh in sourdough Lsenet in sourdough The grand finale: the sandwich of the month—Kebbe Nayeh in sourdough! Choosing what to eat on a second visit would be nearly impossible because I loved so many of the dishes. However, the Kebbe Nayeh and Hindbeh were the most unique and delicious. What an incredible experience! I'm thrilled that Em Sherif has finally come up with a deli concept that can be shared with the world. Great job, guys—I can't wait to come back!
