a month agoAbsolutely love this place! It never disappoints. The coffee is always brewed to perfection, and the desserts are simply divine. Their honey cake is a perfect balance of sweetness and texture, and the flourless chocolate cake is pure indulgence—rich, decadent, and absolutely unforgettable. Also tried their stuffed sele2 and loved them. Whether it’s a quiet afternoon treat or a quick pick-me-up, this spot nails it every time. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates amazing coffee and desserts . Cant wait to try more food

2 months agoEm Sherif never disappoints with the flavors. It’s not my first time but my first time reviewing the Deli. First of all, one should know what to expect before going. It’s a deli but at the standards of Em Sherif. The place is always fully packed constantly, you might find a difficulty to find a seat. The sandwiches although the portions aren’t big but every bite is worthwhile and very flavorful. After the sandwiches we ordered a cup of IceCream, Aych El Saraya. After I took the cup to the table, i was surprised to see the manager arriving to the table with another cup; since she saw the portion that was in my cup and it didn’t meet her standards, she offered us a complimentary cup of ice cream. All in all, our experience was very rewarding.

2 months agoFood: I ordered one Batata Melkliye sandwich, and it was great. I also wanted a Hendbeh sandwich, but they were out of sourdough bread. I asked if they could make the Hendbeh sandwich with regular Lebanese bread instead, but they refused, saying it was against their policy. This made no sense to me, as it was a reasonable request from a customer. Ultimately, I ended up ordering a Halloumi sandwich. It was good, but not exceptional. Service: I placed my order at exactly 20:58. The restaurant was very crowded, so I understood that the food might take some time. Initially, I was given the Halloumi sandwich quite quickly, but the Batata sandwich took 30 minutes to arrive, despite me waiting inside. The delay seemed to be the result of miscommunication due to a sudden influx of orders. I didn’t mind the delay, as mistakes can happen, but I was disappointed by the customer service approach. There was no apology, and I was handed the Batata sandwich at 21:28, 30 minutes later, as if the delay was completely normal. Atmosphere: The atmosphere was great!

2 months agoWow this place left me shocked for days!! I went there to check what was the hype about and I left there with so much frustration and genuinely upset!! First of the place is full of people who are just sitting for a chat, while the empty tables are dirty. We went outside and sat on a table next to cringe guys who were talking about Gonorrhea and how many times they do it lol. We changed our place and I was standing all the time cz not enough seating. Second thing, the staff were all over the place and it wasn't organized at all! Third point, I checked the menu and I was shocked to see usual day to day sandwiches we eat at home literally over priced ridiculously!! And it just looked bland!!! The only thing that caught my attention was the dessert section. I honestly thought the menu would be more creative and has something original since this place is super hyped!! But God forbid though the only special item I found was a sandwich called Kebab Rossini claiming it is the sandwich of the month..so I'm like sure let's try this and it was marketed in a leaflet scattered all over the tables without any price indication or real size. We ordered and my frnd paid for it, the bill came and it left me flabbergasted!! ok I said maybe it is so special and really worth it cz that is what they are marketing and maybe the fois Gras in it is so damn good and the portion might be big. My frnd and I waited around 15 minutes, I went there and I was handed a greasy box, I opened it and saw a small size sandwich super thin, that had a finger sized kefta piece( ad far7et albe) and I was struggling to find the Fois Gras!!! The sandwich was a Mish mash soggy markouk and it tasted literally like Kefta with sugar syrup on top that's about it! I was super upset and I felt I got scammed!!! Never in my life I felt robbed like that!! For 30$ I am expecting a really really flavorful sandwich not a below average scam!! Sorry but do they think people are stupid?? Maybe they are catering only for influences/Instagram peeps and some shallow people who literally go there for the name and prestige!!! When you build a Hype and create a high standard (in theory apparently), the customers expect really good food regardless of the price!! I could have went to a super cheap place and have gotten a really great food experience!! The daughter looks like a genuinely sweet person but it is going to be harsh for her if she doesn't get help ASAP...that if she cares about the real reviews here. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. For the management I say: UNLESS YOU CHANGE THIS RIDICULOUSNESS, YOU WILL LOSE MANY CUSTOMERS...

7 months agoEm Sherif Deli impressed with its flavor! The sheesh taouk and potato sandwiches I devoured were bursting with fresh, clean ingredients and absolutely delicious. It was a highlight to see Em Sherif working alongside the team, ensuring everything ran smoothly and delivered that signature Em Sherif excellence. However, when it comes to portion size, these are miniature masterpieces. Even a child might need more than one to feel satisfied. For adults, tackling hunger pangs requires at least two, maybe even three, sandwiches. The real gut punch comes with the price tag. Ten dollars for a small taouk sandwich feels a bit steep. If the portions were more substantial, or at least average, the price for such a tasty treat might be easier to digest. If you're looking for a quick, high-quality bite and don't mind the cost, this spot might be for you. However, if you're seeking a more filling and budget-friendly option, you might want to explore elsewhere.
