The first time we visited Amavi, the food was great and delicious, living up to its reputation for authentic Italian cuisine. However, we had an issue with the atmosphere. The restaurant was very crowded, and the noise level was quite high due to the tables being too close together, leaving no personal space for each table. While the food overall was enjoyable, I was disappointed with the tiramisu, which was surprising given that Amavi is known for its Italian taste. On our second visit, we were surprised to find that the food taste wasn't consistent. The inconsistency in food quality was disappointing. I hope they can address the ambiance issues and work on maintaining consistent food quality to enhance the dining experience.

New place in a very well located street. The restaurant is very nice, big and clean. The staff is friendly and the food is tasty. The variety on the menu is amazing! From risotto to pizza to steaks and chicken and appetizers you’ll definitely find something you love! Keep it up and good luck! Valet parking is available but difficult to find a parking spot yourself.

Amavi Italian Eatery is a delightful restaurant located in Achrafieh on Abdul Wahab Street. The friendly staff always greet you with a smile. The food is excellent, but the service can be slow at times. Overall, a great dining experience with room for improvement in service efficiency.

Very nice place where you feel in Italy for few hours because of the elegant, classy decoration and the amazing ambience put by men occasionally passing by the tables with accordéons to sing Italian songs. Food is tasty and choices are various, going from sea food to pizza and pasta. Would recommend Prosciutto e Funghi pizza that melts in mouth through its soft dough and the Truffle Rigatoni that are cooked to perfection. For sure not my last time at this mesmerizing place.

We visited Amavi on a Sunday for late lunch. The interior design was incredible, a truly stunning space. Our waitress however, while friendly, wasn't very familiar with the menu. There were several trips back and forth to the pizza manager, to clarify missing items, as she was not aware of why some things were unavailable on the menu. Drinks, however, were a bright spot. Their cocktail cart was a fun touch, and the drinks themselves were beautifully presented and inventive. Though, the "special Negroni" was a surprising detour from the classic, being much sweeter than expected. We ordered 2 pizzas and one pasta. To start off, the penne arrabbiata was incredible. The tomato sauce was superior, perfectly balanced and bursting with flavor. However, the pizzas, which we were particularly excited about (knowing Marc from Marco Pizza), were a bit of a letdown. We ordered the pesto burrata and a goat cheese and honey option. Both were plagued by an overly-moist dough, turning the pizza into a near-soup situation. We've had Marco's pizzas before, and the crust was always fantastic, holding everything together beautifully. Here, the exceptional ingredients like the burrata and goat cheese couldn't save the soggy base. It was too soggy to the extent that we had to use our forks and knives to eat the pizza. The service wasn't the strongest either. Empty plates stayed on our tables way long after we finished, and there was no inquiry about our experience or dessert, which was very disappointing. It felt like a missed opportunity, especially considering the beautiful gelato kiosk we noticed on the way in. We ended up skipping dessert at Amavi and going out for some gelato elsewhere. Overall, Amavi gets a 2.9/5. The ingredients were undeniably high-quality, but the service and the disappointing pizza dough brought the experience down. Hoping for a better experience next time!
