6 months agoI believe Ahwet Zeytouna is the best spot in the upscale Zeytouna Bay area for a traditional Lebanese breakfast. We hosted the family of a college friend who were passing through Beirut on their way to the airport, and they absolutely loved it. We enjoyed three types of saj: zaatar, cheese, and cheese with sausage, accompanied by plates of foul, fatteh, grilled halloumi, labneh, and olives—all served with freshly baked bread, hot from the oven. They provide tea in large jugs of hot water. The service was excellent, the food delicious, and the elegant atmosphere makes it a place worth returning to.

a year agoit was our first day in Beirut and we got our first Lebanese breakfast here. omg, it was amazing experience! We got their traditional ‘breakfast basket’ which included the most legendary dishes. everything was so fresh and so tasty, and it was so much that we didn’t even hope to finish. but with fresh baked bread and additional hour, we managed everything cause it was simply impossible to stop. we barely could walk after such breakfast ☺️ thank you very much for your wonderful and such tasty introduction. definitely to recommend especially if you are also on a exploratory discovery in Beirut ❤️🏻
