Nestled in Old town Batroun, Mariolino is a authentic place for italian cuisine such as pizza, pasta, antipasti and salads. 🍕
You can choose from a wide range of italian specialities served with fresh ingredients and getting the feeling of little Italy while sitting in the Batroun town. Pizza Bresaola, Pizza Bufala or a trio of italian dips. The place offers also a lot of drinks like several sorts of wine, aperitivos and more alcoholic and non-alcoholic choices. 🍷
This place is perfect to have a nice lunch, a romantic dinner or some good italian food with a group of friends while enjoying the time.
Mariolino is located in Batroun and a second branch in Bakish.

3 months agoMariolino in Batroun is a delightful restaurant offering a tasty menu with a variety of Italian dishes. The ambiance is charming, and the outdoor seating area provides a lovely setting for a meal. The food is flavorful and well-prepared, with generous portions. The service is friendly, although it can be a bit slow during peak times. Overall, a great place to enjoy a delicious Italian meal in Batroun.

3 months agoCool relaxed atmosphere and delicious italian food. The octopus salad came with risotto and was very good but the al brie pizza takes the cake, its really good. The sicilian was okay.

2 months agoLocated in a lovely spot not far from Batroun’s old port. Makes you feel you’re on an island. Whilst the setting has a special cachet (amazing garden-like with rough solid wooden tables), some background music would have added more soul to the place. Everything about the pizzas tasted amazing (tried several flavors). Proper Italian pizza. The salads, although creative and very nicely presented, tasted nothing exceptional. The watermelon shanklish was kind of tasteless. It lacked shanklish and the watermelon chunks were huge. We tried to get some more shanklish added to it, but our waiter totally ignored our request. I must say he wasn’t in his best moods that night. His attitude wasn’t quite welcoming all along. The highlight of the evening was the red wine sangria, simply the best in town! Although our friend had one full glass spilled entirely on her dress by pure accident. It was totally fine. What wasn’t cool though, is the fact that our main waiter did not react much to it and left it to other waiters (outside our section) to apologize for the mishap. Our chocolate fondant took more than 30 min to be served. When asked about it, our waiter’s body language revealed he was bothered. Waiters who are not in the mood, should be asked to take the day off. They can simply ruine your whole experience. Later, our friend reported the bad experience to the manager who was a great listener and took feedback onboard. Our dessert was on the house to compensate for the sangria spillover & this was a professional gesture. I would definitely give the place another shot, but would try to avoid that waiter’s section to be honest.
