16mm Bar & Café Beirut

I went to 16MM to get just one drink and I was planning to be there just for an hour. I ended up spending a bit more than two hours and drank three. They were really friendly and helpful, drinks were tasty and I tried to get the link for the playlist (I couldn't). That's all I have to say. When I look back and think about my trip to Beirut, I'll remember 16MM.

A great place for breakfast, lunch, and late night drinks! The music is so chill and you vibe well enough with it without it overpowering conversation! The food is DE-LI-CIOUS! The drink sublime! Cinema lovers will be obsessed but then again so would muggles! The owner is one of the coolest people in town!

Disgusting behaviour from the manager. 11.30pm Friday. Bar is empty. Refused entry to me and my three friends, on the grounds that we're all male. I wonder why that place is empty? Because they told all the males to go away. And in this city of single women, a bar with loads of men would be a magnet to women. The manager was rude, offensive, aggressive and a very bad representative for the owners of this place. I don't think westerners are welcome on this establishment

Worse place ever in Gemmayze! The security or manager guy is super RUDE and impolite! No wonder why this place is always empty! Don’t go to this place if you are western or a group of 3 guys, they won’t let you in! Visiting from London , my friends and I, are so disgusted from this security guy/ the manager, and we would never go back to this place … 16MM management , it is 2024 not 2004 you need to grow up with this doors attitude!
