2 months agoCayu is truly a hidden gem right on the sea the location is simply breathtaking. With direct access to some of the cleanest waters in Lebanon, it offers an unmatched setting for a perfect beach day. The sunset views were absolutely stunning, making the whole experience even more magical. Despite visiting on a busy day, the service was exceptional. The staff were attentive, detail-oriented, and always present, ensuring we had everything we needed. It’s rare to find such great service under pressure, but Cayu delivered seamlessly. The food was another highlight; incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Beirut. I’ll definitely be coming back!

a month agoI had high expectations for Cayu, but the food really let me down. We arrived about 10 minutes before sunset, with only two other tables occupied, and the vibe was calm. The location is truly amazing — beachside, sunset views, and the sound of the waves. It’s perfect for relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. As for the food, I discovered it wasn’t great overall. The bizri was good, but honestly it’s hard to mess it up. The mini burgers were below average, especially for $20. The crab tacos and fries were okay, but the tacos could have been better seasoned and more flavorful. The guacamole with chips needed more salt. Drinks were fine but overpriced at around $15 each. Service was decent. One thing to note: it can get very humid and windy near the beach. I personally liked it, but it might bother some. The bill came to $90 — pretty expensive for what we got. Overall, great location and vibes, but average food and pricey drinks.

3 weeks agoCayu the Sea is truly a hidden gem — the location is stunning, with crystal-clear blue water. The setting alone makes you want to come back. Unfortunately, the service was extremely poor. Something as simple as ordering water took almost an hour to arrive. The food was also disappointing — we ordered salmon and fish burger both of which came out cold. For such a beautiful place, I expected the dining experience to match, but it fell far short.

2 months agoHad lunch today, service and food were excellent, but we struggled to find a table to fit our party of 6. To be fair we should have called and reserved. Loved the bar, decor, music and the food. The water is clear and clean, I even saw a sea turtle. Overall, an amazing and unforgettable day !
