4 weeks agoWe spent the day at the pool, and I have to say the place itself is truly lovely — very relaxing, well-designed, and aesthetically pleasing. It’s the perfect spot to unwind. That said, we did experience one downside during our visit, which was related to the service. I’m generally very understanding and don’t like to be overly critical, but we couldn’t help but feel a bit unwelcome throughout the day. When we first arrived at the reception, there were two women — one was on the phone giving instructions to the other — and they didn’t really acknowledge us or offer a warm greeting. Then, after we settled in (we were a group of five friends sitting together), someone came about 15 minutes later and asked to remove two of our chairs for decoration purposes, which would have separated our group. We politely asked why the change was happening after we had already sat down, but the question didn’t seem to be well received. Later, when we went to order some drinks and water, we said hello but didn’t receive a response at first. We had to greet them again before someone came to take our order, and unfortunately, the interaction didn’t feel very friendly. We genuinely appreciated the ambiance and the beautiful setting, but the overall experience was impacted by how we were made to feel. We really wanted to enjoy the day to the fullest, but we left feeling a little disappointed. Thank you for taking the time to read this. We hope this feedback can help improve the experience for future guests, as the place has so much potential.

4 weeks agoVery disappointed, unfortunately. I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but I feel the need to share my experience in hopes that it leads to improvement. From the moment we arrived, we were informed of several rules: no outside food or drinks and no loose hair in the pool. However, once inside, we saw several people walking around with coffees clearly brought from outside, and the pool was unfortunately full of floating hair very unclean and not maintained at all. We were also shooting a small content video (not involving the resort in any way), when the marketing manager approached us and informed us that filming usually costs $250. I told her that we could easily delete the video if needed, but instead of simply addressing it professionally, she responded, and I quote “No, it’s too late to kick you out now.” That comment was extremely uncalled for and frankly very disrespectful. The service was also not up to standard. There were too few waiters for the number of guests, and they were visibly uninterested, inattentive, and at times even rude. When it came time to settle the check, the waiter took the change from our payment without returning it, not even to ask if we intended to tip. I believe tipping should be at the customer’s discretion, not automatically assumed. As for the food, it was very disappointing and overpriced. The Chicken Caesar Salad came with a dressing that was definitely not Caesar it was just plain mayonnaise. We also ordered a chicken avocado sandwich, which had barely any chicken and was mostly avocado. It felt cheap and poorly prepared. Overall, this was not the relaxing or professional experience we were hoping for. I’m sharing this with the utmost respect, but also with genuine disappointment. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback into consideration.

a month agoThe hotel has a beautiful location with amazing mountain views, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the rest of our experience did not meet expectations. When we arrived, we found that there was major construction going on at the hotel. We had not been informed about this in advance, which was frustrating. On top of that, the pool was closed and not usable during our stay. We had also booked a room with a hot tub and jacuzzi, but neither of them worked. For a rate of $300 per night, we expected all the amenities to be in working order. If they aren't, guests should be told ahead of time or offered some kind of compensation. When we provided this feedback at checkout, we didn’t receive a proper response—just a casual “hope to see you again,” which felt dismissive given the issues we raised. The location is great, but the lack of communication and the number of problems made the stay disappointing.
