Serving sustainably sourced high quality coffee since 2015!
Our Ras Beirut roastery, housed in a late-1800s Lebanese heritage home, was once the Himadeh family residence from the 1920s. Opening its doors in January 2019, this location is designed around a central bar, evoking the Dar’s customary activity. A backyard, accessible only from the main entrance, leads to the garden, featuring outdoor seating for our guests.
We offer a variety of coffees to complement Ras Beiruti water profiles, and our menu includes cocktails, local wines, beer, and all-day dining options.

10 months agoA hidden gem in beautiful & quite neighbourhood in beirut🫶 we happen to pass by this place while wandering around, they serve coffee, breakfast, & Brunch. The staff is absolutely friendly and welcoming, there are outdoor & indoor seats surrounded by a garden, they also have a small triftshop on the side. Loved their coffee & breakfast absolutely recommended!

7 months agoThis place is quickly becoming my favorite and top recommended spot to go to for studying/working/meetings/chilling! The mood, the calmness of the place and how big it is all add up not to mention the drinks and food with a twist. Try the eggs with awarma in a sourdough bread ❤️🔥i loved this one for a morning breakfast! And grab yourself a spanish latte and your set! Whenever I go I end up spending 5-6 hours and time flies by easily so I definitely recommend the place to visit to grab a coffee or a drink and spend time in a calm relaxing place ❤️

5 months agoWas very let down by the experience at Kalei Coffee. The coffee was sour, indicating it wasn't brewed correctly. To make matters worse, the almond milk separated from the coffee almost immediately. It was clear that the almond milk was spoiled or had not been refrigerated properly. When I brought this issue to the server's attention, they claimed that the separation was due to the almond milk being "organic" and that the sour taste was a characteristic of their light to medium roast blend. However, it was obvious that the coffee wasn't brewed correctly and the almond milk was past its prime. The milk wouldn’t even stir in with the espresso and they were trying to convince me that it was made correct. Instead of rectifying the issue, they proceeded to tell me that that’s just how it’s made, not sure why they took pride in sour coffee. Overall, the quality of both the coffee and the response from the server was disappointing. I expected better from a place that supposedly prides itself on its coffee.

7 months agoKalei is a must-visit for any coffee lover! Their brews are absolutely amazing—truly top-notch in quality and flavor. Don't even get me started on the apple crumble paired with vanilla ice cream; it's simply divine and a dessert not to be missed. A special shout out to Jad, whose kindness and excellent suggestions enhanced our experience immensely. Also, the playlist here is fireeee but I’m wondering if the person who made it is okay 🤣🤣

10 months agoThe place is pretty cozy! loads of comfy places and just feels nice. The staff are really nice and helpful! The animals there make it even more cozy and cute. One thing that stood out to me was the music they were playing! such good music!!! I dont know if the shop doesnt add sugar to their drinks or i may have misunderstood what they said but the Espresso Freddo and Cappuccino were VERY bitter. Prices are a tiny bit high too. But overall its a nice place to go to and study or even have a date there!
