Backburner Coffee

A cute and cozy cafe. The coffee and matcha are both very good. Sandwiches and sourdough bread options are tasty. My favorite was The sourdough with Zaatar and pistachios. Great for grab and go or if you find a table, sit for a quick bite. Service is great and the staff is very friendly! Lactose free options available

Backburner is one of our go-to coffee spots in Beirut. The coffee is great, the atmosphere is vibrant, and the staff are always friendly. I would’ve given 5 stars, but their prices are out of hand — $17 for a smoothie (what?!) That said, if you’re looking for a good coffee in a lively setting and in Saifi, it’s still worth a visit!

Possibly the best specialty coffee spot in Beirut. Highly impressed with their offering of beans - special guests in particular given it’s one of our favourite coffee spots in London, only opened 6 months ago — and somehow they’re already sourcing and offering here. Exchanged numbers with the BM as they’re so interested to get ideas for other beans across the world. These people are serious about good coffee

fav spanish latte in beirut- the sugar mamas cookie there is also delicious i totally recommend its pretty small so u might not always find a place to sit
