One of the most historic fast food places in Beirut and especially the famous Hamra area is “Barbar Restaurant”! 3 months agoGreat reputation for the taste and volume amongst the locals, that's the reason why I came. This 24/ 7 restaurant appears to be very popular and crowded with locals in this 24/7 restaurant. The atmosphere is uplifting and cosy, the service is quite friendly with the young staff who spoke to me. The prices are not necessarily low, but they are reasonable considering the high price standard in Lebanon and the well-equipped facilities. The flavour of the chicken shawarma sandwich is full of breast meat with less flavour, leaving the dinner itself to enjoy the natural taste. # Beirut # Lebanon # Shawarma

3 months agoThe employee at barbar hamra branch, at the falafel section is very rude and talks very bad. Such an uneducated and lacks so much training how to deal with customers. Please take care of this thing as customers like me would never return regardless of how good the food is.

9 months agoBarbar Hamra is a Beirut institution, and it lives up to the reputation for offering tasty and affordable Lebanese fare. Having experienced Barbar Dubai, I can't help but feel the Dubai outpost takes the crown. Here's why: - Taste: While the food in Barbar Hamra is good, I found the flavors in Dubai to be slightly more nuanced and impactful. Perhaps it's the use of different spices or cooking techniques. - Cleanliness: Admittedly, this is a subjective point, but the Dubai location felt noticeably cleaner and more modern compared to the classic Beirut vibe of Barbar Hamra.

2 years agoLoved the shawarma sandwich, grape leaves were good, the hummus with meat was good too as it was tender. The fattouch salad wasn’t’ that great as it was basically a green salad with lemon juice, and vinegar added to it and missing the pomegranate syrup. The sitting atmosphere is more like a fast food than a restaurant. They have lots of variety to choose from.

a year agoFood is incredibly amazing Best falafl ever! After Baghdad's one sure! Everything is tasty Not fancy place! It's for average and poor ppl Price is affordable to cheap! The service is fast! The only comment is that it's noisy! Yet the food taste majes u forget the noise Ofc ofc ofc it'll be my main place of food next time Too grateful for trying it ...
