One of the most historic fast food places in Beirut and especially the famous Hamra area is “Barbar Restaurant”! The Restaurant is in Hamra since 1982 and started as a small family bakery, which is now famous for it’s quick lebanese Snacks and Sandwiches like Shawarma Sandwich with Beef or Chicken. 🌯 The Restaurant offers much more lebanese food items nowadays like appetizers, salads, sandwiches, full meals, fresh juices and deserts. Barbar has a large selection of popular lebanese snacks, savoury pastries and also traditional cold and warm mezze items. They do nearly everything and offer seating area, to-go options and delivery. You can also enjoy Breakfast at their place in Hamra with a bowl of Foul Mudammas, Labneh or your Manakish Flatbread of choice. 🇱🇧
The Restaurant is open 24/7 and definitely a must-visit in the area when the hunger kicks in!
Barbar Restaurant also has a second branch in Al Zarif, Beirut.

2 weeks agoA 24/7 restaurant, nice location and great place to have a dinner in late evening or midnight. The food was super delicious The service was not as expected Prices are resonable, but good for thr quantity and quality they offer. Car parkings are available only in sides of the streets which sometimes become difficult.

4 months agoGreat reputation for the taste and volume amongst the locals, that's the reason why I came. This 24/ 7 restaurant appears to be very popular and crowded with locals in this 24/7 restaurant. The atmosphere is uplifting and cosy, the service is quite friendly with the young staff who spoke to me. The prices are not necessarily low, but they are reasonable considering the high price standard in Lebanon and the well-equipped facilities. The flavour of the chicken shawarma sandwich is full of breast meat with less flavour, leaving the dinner itself to enjoy the natural taste. # Beirut # Lebanon # Shawarma

2 weeks agoIts good for one try only, if you are curious lebanese street food. The taste is actually good but this place is full of disadvantages like the price thats above average. Also its right next to the road, all the fumes of exhausts and car noises ruin your experience. No place to sit and chill specially if you are a tourist, you cant even take a break to enjoy your meal if you came by walking and have to stand there to eat under high temperature because of the sun and cars passing by, you cant even wash your hands…

5 months agoThe employee at barbar hamra branch, at the falafel section is very rude and talks very bad. Such an uneducated and lacks so much training how to deal with customers. Please take care of this thing as customers like me would never return regardless of how good the food is.
